A day at Jusco..err..I mean half

What's the best thing to do when TMNUT Screamyx failed you? Hang out with a bunch of friends! Yeah I've just returned from Aeon Cheras Selatan a.k.a. Jusco. It was a nice day to hang out as today is Wednesday, when movie tickets are cheaper! We watched 2 movies: Fast & Furious 4 and Shinjuku Incident.

Our group consisted of 5 friends. Coincidentally, we bumped onto 5 other friends of another group, which has exactly the same schedule with us as well. Looks like Wednesday is a good day to bump onto friends after all.

Our first movie to watch was Fast & Furious 4, and so we entered the cinema (duhz). Well, this movie wasn't as cool as I expected: Racing all the way long (noob thoughts). It does have some thrills though. But honestly, I watch the babes more than the cars as I know nothing about cars, obviously. Sad. Overall, the movie still has a nice storyline.

We had our lunch at McDonalds after the first movie session. I don't know why we always eat there everytime we go out. Perhaps they serve fast food which is the easiest to eat lol. We then visited Popular bookshop to read some books and waited time pass (earliest Shinjuku Incident session was at around 3pm, we had hours to waste). I bought my first English novel (excluding those novels forced to buy for school syllabus), Tom Clancy's Debt of Honour.
It just costed me RM13.40 after 10% discount. Wtf. It's so cheap for a mini dictionary-like-thick (and VERY old) book. Just hope that I can finish it by next year. lol

Finally the time to watch Shinjuku Incident arrived. We entered the cinema again (duhz), but for some reasons the cinema room didn't have any lights other than those beside the seats. It's a complete dark situation. It would be nice if there was a girl beside me. LOL j/k.

This movie interested me. It's the first time I see Jackie Chan acting is such violent movies. The movie is about the hard lifes of illegal Chinese immigrants to Japan during the 1990s. During their early days there, everything seemed happy because everyone was united. After 铁头 (Jackie Chan) accomplished some dirty works as ordered by some Yakuza leader, the illegal Chinese immigrants finally obtained status and power over the area, but things just started to get worse.

I won't spoil any further, I'm not good at narrating anyway, so you'll have to watch it to get a clear picture. This is not an action movie as acted by Jackie Chan usually, instead it's heavier on drama. This movie depicts the ugly side of human, where human is selfish, money-minded and do not care for their former comrades. Everything ended up in a conflict, which is another ugly thing as well. If there's a sentence like "all's well ends well", then "all's bad ends bad" is the only thing I can say now. lol

Imagine if the same thing happens in Malaysia in the future, when illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries flock into our country, forms a gang, and conflicted with local triads (if there's any), what will happen? Can I reckon that movies like "Kuala Lumpur Incident" or "Malaysia Incident" might come out by that time?
